Our Fifth Year At Portobello

As the last warm days of summer draw in, all eyes turn to West London for the loosest and most joyfully free-form film festival out there: The Portobello Film Festival. And once again, Dom will showing something.

Since 2012 there has been a new MadeByWade joint at the Festival, and 2016 is no exception. This year, Dom will be showing his piece celebrating the Bluescreen open film night at the Cube community cinema in Bristol. Dom has volunteered at the Cube for years, and the doco he made is just another example of his commitment to the cause of low-budget film-making. Although not an exclusive, the film keys into the free-wheeling spirit of collaborative film that Portobello does so well.

If you fancy joining Dom and the rest of the MadeByWade crew, we’ll be based at The Muse, 269 Portobello Road on the evening of Saturday 10th September. The screening starts at 6, with the Bluescreen doc showing at around 7:15. Expect a full report on the day as well.

Hope to see you there!
